Henrico County-based Compare.com, which enables people to price-comparison shop for automobile insurance online, is now offering bundled auto and homeowner insurance quotes in four states.

The company has rolled out the free comparison service for bundled insurance in Virginia, Texas, Illinois and Ohio and plans to expand it to other states by early next year, when it also plans to start offering quotes for stand-alone homeowners insurance.

Compare.com, founded in Henrico in 2013, previously offered comparisons only for automobile insurance.
