Experience the Richmond Police Training Academy's
"USE OF FORCE SIMULATOR"
Do you ever read stories about police officers's actions and think you know what he or she should have done?
You're standing by a car's passnger door talking to a woman through the open window. Suddenly, she reaches into the glove compartment as the driver starts the car. Is she reaching for gum or for a gun? An obviously drunk elderly man is walking towards you with a paper bag in his hand and he doesn't stop when you ask, and then order, him to stop. Is the bottle in the bag a potentially deadly weapon, or can you easily disarm the stumbling man?
