SPEAKING AT ENCOREPRENEUR

Speakers vs Partners
We include speakers under the "PARTNERS" tab on our website because we often feel that we partner with them on things that we both find important. We choose speakers who we think are inspiring, interesting and who have a message we would like to take to our members, and we think of them as partners.

We have hosted more than 85 breakfasts and other programs since Encorepreneur! including serial entrepreneurs, NY Times best selling authors, WWII and Viet Nam veterans, a members of Congress, educators, baseball players, first responders, extreme hikers (from 3 different continents), and many other interesting people. Their willingness to share their experiences with us demonstrates - and our "sold out" response to them - demonstrates what an interesting and engaged community we live in. IINFORMATION FOR SPEAKERS

SCHEDULE FOR IN-PERSON MEETINGS
Here is a generic schedule to give an idea of how the morning will go. It is not locked in stone, and is often changed to meet the needs of speakers, the topic or the venue.

6:45 – Venue opens and preparations begin
7:00 –Testing of mic’s, a/v, etc if necessary
7:10 – Guests begin to arrive
7:30 – Networking officially begins – usually 60% or so of attendees have arrived
7:55 - Seating begins
8:00 – Program begins
8:10 – Speaker introduced and has ½ hours including Q&A
8:45 – Wrap-up

AUDIENCE
We normally have 175 to 250 attendees depending on the time of year, the venue selected and the topic. Generally, we are in an auditorium or other venue with theater style seating. Venues are often at or near capacity, but we also occaisionally visit a larger site.

A/V, STAGE, ETC
Because we visit a new venue almost every month, the availability of A/V equipment, design of the stage, etc., varies greatly. However, we try to match the venue to the speaker, and we will work with you to make sure your needs are met.

SCHEDULE FOR ZOOM MEETINGS
We have returned to in-person meetings and do not plan any Zoom meetings in the future. However, should we schedule another virtual meeting in the future, below is a typcial schedule.

7:45 – Encorepreneur! team and speakers meet online to go over last minute plans and establishing the speaking schedule and planned "handoffs" from one participant to the next, testing of mic's, screen sharing, etc.
8:00 – People in waiting room are allowed to enter and a brief "We will be with you as soon as evereone is in the meeting" announcement is made.
8:05 – Encorepreneur announcements are made
8:12 – Speaker is announced
8:15 - Speaker introduced and has 30-45 minutes including Q&A. Questions are asked by Encorepreneur! participant begins and come from the chat during the meeting and possibly developed beforehand.
8:45 to 9:00– Wrap-up
