OUR HOST
407 E. Canal Street
Our May Host, and the 43rd different venue to host an Encorepreneur breakfast, is the Richmond Ballet.
Richmond Ballet has occupied its spacious facility in downtown Richmond since July 2000. In 1997 Reynolds Metals Company gave Richmond Ballet a generous gift of three buildings spanning the entire block of Canal Street between 4th and 5th Streets. The largest building was transformed into a state of the art dance facility into which the Ballet moved in 2000.
We will be meeting in the “Studio Theatre”. Within just a few hours, two company studios on the third floor can be transformed into an intimate 250 seat theatre which, among Richmond Ballet patrons, has become a favorite venue for experiencing dance. The second floor of the building houses The School of Richmond Ballet (SRB), and includes 4 dance studios, 3 locker rooms, a break out room, and a study area.
