"IMMIGRATION POLICY
WHO KNEW IT WOULD BE SO COMPLICATED?"

Lakshmi Challa

The Challa Law Group

Our August breakfast will focus on a very timely topic - immigration policy. Everyine seems to have an opinion on the subject, but only a few have more first-hand experience in the field than our August speaker.

Lakshmi Challa will draw on her experience and expertise to give us perspective on some of the major issues in today's legal and political environment climate related to immigration.

Lakshmi and the Challa Law Group specialize in employment-based immigration issues and have extensive experience in assisting businesses in navigating the system.

OUR HOST

Frommer’s travel guides said it best: “While you weren’t looking, Richmond got cool”, and the VCU Institute for Contemporary Art is one of the reasons.

Located at Belvidere and Broad, the ICA opened this year to rave reviews. The ICA will anchor VCU’s #1 ranked art school, and will exhibit local and international art.

The $41 million museum has already been named one of the most anticipated buildings of 2018 by Architectural Digest. The building was created with two fronts to symbolize being open to the city and to the university. The Broad Street entrance is a soaring atrium with lofty ceilings, transparent glass walls, curved edges and a sweeping grand staircase. The other entrance is the garden side. It has tables, a reflecting pool and landscaping, and opens to the university. VCU raised the funding for the building from private donors.
