"THE FUTURE OF HISTORY"
GREG WERKHEISER Cofounder Register
Building on our tour of Richmond’s historic neighborhoods last month, our May 25 Encorepreneur Virtual Breakfast speaker will explore how history, technology, and intelligence are intermingling to reshape our understanding of the past and the future. Greg Werkheiser is a lawyer and entrepreneur who uses the technology of the future to protect and provide access to the art, artifacts, architecture, landscapes, and folkways of the present and the past.
Greg is cofounder and CEO of ARtGlass, the world’s leading provider of Augmented Reality (AR) experiences to the experience economy, including museums/historic sites, theme parks, attractions, and entertainment venues, tourism companies, and trade shows and promotional events. Their installations have been enjoyed by millions of visitors at sites as diverse as ancient Pompeii, Richmond's Monument Avenue, Mount Vernon, and Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum.
Greg is also cofounder of Cultural Heritage Partners, a global law firm tackling controversies and conflicts in areas like the recovery of Nazi-looted art, the defense of American Indian sacred sites, and the black-market trade in looted antiquities. The firm has offices in Richmond, Washingon, DC and New York.
