A Celebration of 100 Encorepreneur Breakfasts

With appearances by some of our most entertaining, informative & inspiring speakers.

To celebrate Encorepreneur's 100th monthly breakfast, we plan to take time to celebrate some of Encorepreneur’s best moments. We are welcoming back some of our most popular entertaining, and inspiring speakers to say hello and tell us what they have been up to since they met with Encorepreneur. We will also revisit a couple of our most popular “Encorepreneur Moments” that sometimes opened our programs.

ROJAI FENTRESS
Rojai was convicted of a murder he didn't commit in Chesterfield County at age 14. After 24 years in jail, he was freed by UVA Law School's Innocence Project and appeared just 3 weeks later at one of our first Zoom meetings last July.

REP. ABIGAIL SPANBERGER
Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger attracted our largest crowd as more than 400 people to a January breakfast where she told us about the path from UVA to the CIA to working Mom, to Congress. She received our first standing ovation.

TOM WOLF
An attorney and poetry performer, Tom appeared at more than a dozen breakfasts, providing a unique beginning to our day by performing a poem especially selected for the specific occasion.

EVA DeVIRGILIS
Eva is a well-known Richmond artist, actor and activist who earned our 2nd standing ovation when she performed a portion of her one-woman show “In My Chair” at a breakfast in the spacious studios of VPM.

FRANK GUPTON
Frank is a senior engineer and executive focused on drug manufacturing practices, and a leader of the group that secured a $300+ million grant to establish Phlow Pharmaceuticals, a drug manufacturing facility in central Virginia. Phlow’s goal is to lower the cost and secure the supply of many critical drugs now produced overseas.

KAREN STANLEY
Karen met with us to describe CARITAS’s plans to dramatically expand its facilities and services provided to individuals and families dealing with the crisis of homelessness and/or addiction in the Metro Richmond area. She will take us on an introductory virtual tour of the new CARITAS Center.

“HOW TO START A MOVEMENT IN 3 MINUTES”
We will kick off this special meeting with a rerun of a funny and inspiring 3-minute video that played a role in the formation of Encorepreneur!

Note: This program may run over our normal 1-hour limit, but it will be on ZOOM so you can sneak out quietly whenever you need to get on your way.
